PCS Tennis Award Winners 2010
The End-of-Year Honors for the Providence Tennis Teams were announced on Monday, May 17 at the Annual Tennis Banquet. The Girl’s Singles Player of the Year were Co-Winner’s. Abbie Lynn Pickett, the #2 Singles Player and Summer Strickland, the #3 Singles Player, both finished with identical 12-3 Records. Both Players are Sophmore’s. Abbie Lynn and Summer also took home the Doubles Team of the Year Award. They finished with a 12-2 Record in Doubles Play.
The Boy’s Team also had a multiple Winner. Brennan Colley a Freshman finished his Singles Season with an 11-1 Record to win the Boy’s Singles Player of the Year Award. He then teamed with another Sophmore , Will Mahone, to win the Doubles Team of the Year Award with a 9-2 Record.
